What Aubameyang has to say after Yesterday's game, Another record broken, Huge boost for the Gunners.

Having Played Napoli at home last Thursday in the UEFA Europa League, Arsenal battle with Watford away from home in a Monday Night Football to make it their 33rd Premier league Match of the season.  With the season approaching it's end The Gunners are in contest for the top four race against Manchester United, Chelsea and their North London rivals Tottenham in order to book a spot in the UEFA Champions League campaign next season after two seasons.




Arsenal went into the game with Granit Xhaka back into the team following his recovery from the injury that has kept him sidelined over the weeks. The young Greek Lad Mavropanous also got a start due to Sokratis Papasthopoulous' ineligible to play because of his 10th yellow card of the season which will suspend him for a match, Unai Emery lined up with a single Striker (Pierre Emerick Aubameyang) who is also in the race for the Golden boot. Watford on the other hand had four changes to their last line up.

Aubameyang provided the only goal of the game in the 10th minutes to give Arsenal the lead scoring his 18th Premier league goal of the season by rushing to catch up the ball from the Watford's goalkeepers who wanted to pass the ball but they Gabonese made use of his extraordinary pace to deny the pass and the ball went straight in.

A minute later the home side's Captain Troy Deeney got a straight red card following his elbow challenge on Lucas Torreira which gave the visitors another advantage as they are left with no natural Striker.

The Match ended 0 - 1. Thanks to the early goal by Aubameyang to earn Arsenal all the available points of the game and boost the team's confidence. When he was interviewed by Sky Sports after the game He Said:

"Everybody knows what's the target for us and that is to get into the top four, It was really a good one for the team to go back to Emirates with the 3 points having two home games and three away games left. We all know how difficult away games are for the team but we are happy we gained back our confidence that we can now win away from home and everyone today did a great job."

When asked about his Goal he said: "I was confident I could get to the ball and make the block because goalkeepers don't really know if you're coming back to them. I'm really happy with that goal because it's been a very long time I've wanted to score that kind of goal and I'm delighted I scored tonight."

When asked about making a remarkable goal scoring record in the team, he said: "I feel really good in the Premier League. We all know how difficult it is to play in England but I'm happy in the team and I'm working good.

When asked about been a lone striker on the pitch or with Lacazette, he said "Everyone knows I'll always like to play with Laca but at times the coach has to play one and bench the other. We always have a good partnership on and off the pitch but we all fight for the team. You know I like to play two strikers but I don't want to say it because the coach will be, may be ............"

Arsenal also earned their first away clean sheet of the season as it is also a new record for the young German goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

The Gunners has also remain unbeaten in the last 19 matches in which they've scored and taken the lead in the first half of the game (Won 18, Drew 1) since 2 - 1 loss against the same Watford in October 2017.

Arsenal will depart to Italy for the Second tie with Napoli after having a big 2 - 0 advantage and it seems they're heading to the Semi Finals.
