END OF THE ROAD FOR HUMAN PART SELLERS IN OSUN
Penultimate 2016, the people of Oba-Ile, a sleepy town in Olorunda Local Government Area of Osun State heaved a euphoric sigh of relieve following the arrest of Sina Adeoye by detectives drawn from Criminal Investigations Bureau of the Osun State Police Command.
Sina Adeoye, popularly called ‘Okanlomo is a ring leader of a dare-devil six-man gang of ritaualists cum human parts seller. He was arrested for possession of human parts one of which was two human hands while a Mercedes Benz 230 was recovered from him, and upon police discreet investigations, the suspect was charged to a court of appropriate jurisdiction where he bagged three years jail term without any option of fine.
Obviously, few months after he finished serving his jail term, Sina Adeoye resurfaced and got back to his heinous business. This time around it was the murder of one Pastor Emmanuel Ogedengbe of a Cherubim and Seraphim church, located around Agugu area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital alongside the attempted murder of one Sola Adebayo that brought him to public glare together with two of his gang members.
Pastor Ogedengbe had on Sunday, May 5 2019 asked his church devout, Sola Adebayo to accompany to a place of prayer somewhere in Osogbo Osun State and without hesitation he obliged to the request of his supposed spiritual father and friend, but when the duo got to Oba-Ile, Shola Adebayo never knew what fate had in stock for him.

“When he (Pastor) told me to follow him to Osogbo for prayers I couldn’t turn him down because he is someone I respect so much, but when we got to Osogbo, he changed the story and when I was extremely inquisitive he said it was a town before Ikirun.”
“It was when we got to Oba-Ile that I realized we have come to an herbalist house and I immediately asked him what we were doing there. He told me that these suspects were his friends and that they have been friends for like 8 years. Few minutes later, I was told to wait and they all left with Pastor Ogedengbe and it was when I started calling his number without any response that I started having a second thought”
“But about an hour later, the oldest among the ritualists came back and asked me to follow him. They had asked me to eat one concussion of which I rebuffed and upon this I was asked to follow this old man along other hefty guy to where pastor was. Yet, I asked for pastor’s whereabouts but he only told me he is fine and was praying for me”
“All along, I felt something fishy going on and when we got to a place inside the bush, I asked for my car key with a pretense that I wanted to pick something from the car, but to my surprise the old man refused to give me. It was after some minutes of argument that he released it and asked this stern looking guy to follow me”
“Meanwhile, when we got to the car I requested him to follow me to a filling station to fill up the car since we will be traveling late in the night ad it was from the filling station that I escaped. They followed me on bike till I got to Osogbo-Ikirun expressway before the guys who were on three different bikes got back and I rushed to the nearest police station” Adebayo narrated.
However, when the matter got to the notice of the police, the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Ige deployed officers and men to unravel every circumstance behind the incidence and the search led to the arrest of Sina Adeoye, popularly called Okanlomo, Fatai Tirimisiyu and one Baba Alawonle.
Infact, immediately they got to the police net, the three musketeers started singing like birds. They had immediately slaughtered the body of Pastor Immanuel Ogedengbe and shared the vital parts of his body. Without any hesitation immediately after the pastor was murdered, his head was removed and given to one of them for necessary action same as other parts of his body.
While filling the report, it was unofficially gathered that another member of the gang who is in possession of the deceased private part and heart has been nabbed. While efforts is at the top gear to apprehend other members of the dare-devil gang, the state police boss has called on the good people of the state to always be vigilant.
