Oriolowo Salutes Aregbesola At 62, Says He Is A Blessing To Yoruba Race.
The Senator-Elect for Osun West Senatorial District, Engineer Adelere Oriolowo, has eulogized the immediate past Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, as he clocks 62nd this Saturday 25th of May, 2019, just as he also described him as a very rare personality, who represents one of the best of mankind he ever met.
Engr. Oriolowo made this known today in a press statement sent to newsmen to felicitate with Aregbesola on his new age.
The Senator-Elect said throughout his career as a civil servant, he was privileged to have worked closely with a number of Governors, but Aregbesola was not only different and exceptional, also left an indelible mark in the history of the State.
In his words, “for some of us who had a civil service background, we saw politics as a rough endeavour but Aregbesola came and changed those narratives that politics is all about service delivery to the people, and it is meant for people with vision, clear cut ideas to make a change, deep knowledge of history, and very sound ideological understanding, all these traits among others he possesses actually gave me the needed conviction”.
Oriolowo said, since then, he has consistently try in his capacity to emulate him, a decision, he acknowledged that he has never regretted because it makes the society better.
The former O-RAMP boss said Aregbesola is a blessing to the entire Yoruba race and he believes he will still be useful in higher office in no distance time as he still has the energy and vitality.
The Osun West Senator Elect, however, wished him sound health, peace of mind and God’s protection.
