Bombs Message To Senator Ademola Adeleke ~ By Ex-Minister Jelili Adesiyan

Ex-minister Adesiyan bombs Ademola Adeleke: ‘You are not qualified to govern State of Osun’

Former Minister of Police Affairs, Hon Jelili Adesiyan, has lent his voice to optimistic reviewers of the ongoing Osun State governorship impasse at the Supreme Court, saying victory will surely come the way of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the governorship legal battle.
Adesiyan, a chieftain of the Social Democratic Party/APC coalition, said to opt out for Governor Gboyega Oyetola is borne out of patriotism and conviction as no sane man will support mediocracy when there is an option of meritocracy.
His words: “How can I support an uneducated person to be a visitor to our tertiary institutions? It then means that education which is our main industry in Osun state has become meaningless.
“I don’t hate Demola Adeleke as a person but he is not qualified to administer Osun State and Governor Oyetola is 100 per cent better”.
Adesiyan, who spoke with Nationnews at the birthday reception of a House of Representatives member, representing Aiyedaade, Isokan and Apomu Federal Constituency, Hon(Mrs) Taiwo Oluga, on Thursday said, as an ardent and meticulous follower of the proceedings of the case, one needs not be a lawyer to know that Governor Oyetola is coasting to victory.
The former minister hinted that as a politician of note in  Osun, he has been making sure to familiarise himself with the state governorship impasse which today remains a topical issue in the political turf of the state and beyond.
He said, it is not an overstatement to declare that the ongoing Osun political development is a source of interest to all discerning minds and politically-conscious persons.
Adesiyan said, he was at a vantage position to know what is happening politically because he had reached his peak as a reactionary politician before he came back to the progressive  fold.
He said, those who know him are aware of the fact that he has no time for frivolities, adding that “if we tell the truth we shall die. So, why can’t we tell the truth always”.
The ex-minister disclosed that though he is not a lawyer but his afinity with experienced and tested lawyers of repute who constantly offered free legal services to him have sufficiently enlarged his scope of understanding of law.
Adesiyan advised politicians of various shades of interest in Osun State not to allow their personal interest to becloud the interest of the masses in the overall development of the state.
His words: “First and foremost, I will appeal to our fellow politicians to embrace the politics of decency that will be symbiotically beneficial to the practitioners and the people.
“Politicians should let their mission be how to improve the wellbeing and welfare of the electorate as anything short of this is balderdash”, he stated.
