WHY STUDENT LEADERS IN NIGERIA MUST LEAD POLITICAL STRUGGLE TO GAIN POWER OF ADVOCACY FOR NIGERIAN STUDENTS, RATHER THAN BASKING IN THE EUPHORIA OF THEIR GLORY.

It's a fairytale that is full of alibis to hear about the arrest of some student leaders in Osun state who are experiencing menace under police custody, those who have led the struggle of Nigerian Students are still treated in a bully manner.

To start with, being a student leader does not give room to impertinent character or idiosyncracy, as a leader, humility is very sacrosanct, this is what we teaches followers, how to combat problem using scientific approach, we have 3ways of solving problem, Consultation, Consolidation, and last confrontation, when the first fails, we, go for the next, in the failure both we employ confrontation, that is when you see us taking to the street to stooge protest.



However, Colossians 3vs12 says, Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, this is what some administrators lack, we need not to go back to history of bully treats, a name calling, stigma, lack of respect, panjandrum that exists among pan Afrikaners are the causes of  escalation in a very  small matter to box of Pandora's, if God could hailed the humble, what would have been the reward of the pride.


Everyone, who are either military, clergymen, institution, government official were once students no matter their specialized knowledge, and some people fought for them, they left school on time, those who fought their fight will have to eat problem as their breakfast, and not graduate with their colleagues.


The notion of people about student organization is not really what they thinks, I experienced that during aspiration.



Seldomly I hammers, that students leader's who have had a golden profile must vacate the stage for the prospective for dominance, let this so called students heroes or heroin come and display their repositing experiences in political realm, political sentiment, separatism, fear of failure, expansion of comfort zone has been an acclimated orientation.



If this Nation Nigeria must take decision, NANS suppose to be one of deciders, to lead where other organization's  follows, a serving NANS President should be honored if not the same way the president of a country is honored, but preferentially, there must be regard.


I look for a day when this men will gather together in the spirit of comradeship, define how to  gain strong political office that will serve the interest of the students of Nigeria in the home and diaspora, and call to order those occupying the position of students for personal gain.
