I'M NOT APC GOVERNOR ~ SAYS GOV. OYETOLA.

Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun has expressed an extension of spirit of friendly good-fellowship among political stakeholders regardless of their political party affiliations in the state. 

The Governor made this friendly declaration yesterday while delivering his address during a get-together party organized for his last Friday election victory at the Supreme Court by the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi which was held at the palace pavilion, Iragbiji, the country home of Mr. Oyetola.

The Governor who advocated camaraderie among politicians in the state said: "I am not APC Governor. I am Governor of the State of Osun".

Arriving his country home for the first time after his election victory judgment, a very large crowd of people trooped out to welcome the Governor.

The crowd which turned the Governor's entourage movement to a snail-speed because of its magnitude, comprised the Governor's relatives, party members, lovers of progress and well-wishers.

Speaking further, Mr. Oyetola reiterated his resolve to turn the state around by his developmental drive.

He also promised continuation of prompt payment of workers' salaries as commenced ab initio. 

On Mr. Governor's entourage to the event were the former Minister of Health, Professor Isaac Adewole, the Deputy Governor, Mr. Benedict Alabi, Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, Wife of Governor, Mrs. Kafayat Oyetola, Secretary to the State Government, Prince Wole Oyebamiji, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr. Charles Akinola, among other royal dignitaries in attendance.
