Oyetola to people of Osun ~ Your support will assist us to deliver on our mandate.

Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the state of Osun has again reiterated the need for the people of the state to support his government in order to deliver on the mandate freely given to him.

He said now that the legal battle over the last Osun governorship election that brought him into power is over, what is expected of people irrespective of political differences is to join hands together with his government in the effort of taking the state to higher level.

Mr Oyetola made the appeal on Sunday at a special thanksgiving service put together by the Speaker and members of the state of Osun house of Assembly in honour of him on his recent victory at the Supreme Court of Nigeria and on the successful inauguration of the 7th State of Osun house of Assembly held at Sacred C & S Church, Beula, Oke Iro parish headquarters Ilesa.

Governor Oyetola who was represented by his Deputy Mr Benedict Olugboyega Alabi said it is worthy of praise to God for the songs of victory put in the mouth of the APC in Osun

He stated further " now that the trying period is over, let us unite, we are now one irrespective of our political affiliations and differences, we must join hands together to take our state to higher level.

" Your support and cooperation is what we need and the present government of Mr Gboyega Oyetola is poised to the well-being of the people as you can see in his effort and commitment all this while", the Deputy Governor disclosed.

In his sermon at the thanksgiving service, Superior Apostle E.O Robert who described Governor Gboyega Oyetola as God chosen called on political office holders never to make empty promises when looking for  people's votes, which they may not be able to fulfill.

The man of God said what has happened in the lives of Governor Gboyega Oyetola, his Deputy Mr Benedict Alabi and the speaker of the state house of Assembly Rt. Hon Timothy Owoeye is a manifestation of promise of God which is beyond anybody to prevent from fulfiment.

He however called for unity and togetherness among the APC family and to be truthful and faithful to improve the living condition of the masses.

Dr Robert who qouted from both the Holy Bible and Quran explained that it is only God that appoints whoever he wishes as a leader for the people and it beholds on people to accept whoever God has chosen for them as leader and support such a leader.
