The loyalty and commitment of my Deputy is superb; says Oyetola as Mr Alabi clocks 54

Governor State of Osun Mr Gboyega Oyetola has described his deputy Mr Benedict Alabi as a worthy ally and very dependable.

Mr Oyetola said the  total commitment,  loyalty and unalloyed support  he has continued to enjoyed from his deputy has kept him marching on in the huge task of bringing development to the people of Osun.

Governor Oyetola made the remarks on Friday at a special thanksgiving programme put together by the committee of friends to mark the 54th birthday anniversary celebration of his Deputy held at the deputy Governor's quarters, government house Okefia Osogbo.

Mr Oyetola said with the time he has spent so far with Mr Alabi as his deputy, right from the time of campaigns, election period and to this moment, Mr Alabi has been very wonderful and he has  proved to him to be a very reliable partner in government.

He congratulated his deputy on the very special birthday occasion as it was coming exactly a week after the affirmation of his election by the Supreme Court as the duely elected Governor of the state.

He used the birthday occasion to reassure the people of Osun about the commitment and determination of his administration to deliver and fulfill all the campaign promises made to the people, most especially now that the distraction occasioned by the legal tussle over his election is over.

He stated further " I can assure you that with a kind of person  I have as a deputy who is very committed, loyal disciplined and hard-working and with  the caliber of people  working with me as a team, we have a good team and we are going to deliver.

I congratulate you my deputy on this special birthday occasion, you have proved to be a worthy ally who is reliable and dependable as we March on in the huge task of bringing development to our people," he said.

Governor Oyetola  also used the gathering to extend the hands of fellowship to other political parties in the state particularly the main opposition to  join him in the effort to take the state to a greater and enviable height.

He said "we are running an all inclusive participatory government  as you all know , we extend our hands of fellowship to all other parties in the state to run this government together for the benefit of our people, so we welcome advices and constructive criticisms  that can assist us in the task that is  ahead of us", Governor Oyetola stated.
