Eid-el-kabir: Commissioner Nominee Dr. Bode Olaonipekun Felicitates With Governor Gboyega Oyetola And Advocates For Peace And Love Among Muslims Across The State.

Eid-el-kabir: Dr. Bode Olaonipekun felicitates with Governor Gboyega Oyetola and all Muslims across the State of Osun on Eid festival. While praying that God continue to grant the Governor wisdom more and more, he urged all our Muslim brothers and Sisters to imbibe the lessons of sacrifice exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.

The new Commissioner Nominee from Boluwaduro LGA in the State of Osun, Dr. Bode Olaonipekun by extension, has adviced muslim faithfuls all over the world to imbibe the good lessons of sacrifice as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim not only during the Eid-el-kabir celebrations, but also after the celebration.

The commissioner nominee gave the advice in a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday.

Dr Olaonipekun while felicitating with Governor Isiaka Oyetola and other muslims in the state implored them to be steadfast in their faith and celebrate with moderations saying that life goes on after the merriments.

He also tasked them to go about their celebrations as law abiding citizens, be of good conduct and be firm on their resolve in moving the state forward.

According to him: "Eid-el-kabir celebration is a time for Muslims to rejoice and also to atone for the sins of the previous year symbolised by the slaughtering of rams".

"I felicitate with them and enjoin them to imbibe the lessons of the sacrifice which was exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim during and after the celebrations.

They should also do things with moderation and remember that life goes on after the merriment".
