Insecurity: Osun To Donate 20 Armoured Personnel Carriers To Western Nigeria Security Network ~ Oyetola

Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has stated that the state would contribute 20 armoured personnel carriers to support the newly established Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN) to aid its operations.

It would be recalled Osun that the Federal Government has recently approved the establishment of the Western Nigeria Security Network proposed by thr Governors of the southwestern states to curb the spate of criminality, such as kidnapping, banditry, robbery, ritualists and frauds of all kinds in the region.

Oyetola in a statement he personally signed to congratulate people of the state on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the creation of the state, reiterating his government’s commitment to sustain the peace in the state and as well deliver on campaign promises.

“The state is partnering with other South West states to strengthen security in the region, and soon, the Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN) will commence operation to fortify the area.
