A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), AKOL Foundation has rewarded three hardworking and loyal members of All Progressives Congress APC in Ward 7, Esa-Oke of Obokun local government area of Osun with N100,000 cash gift, a Nikon D40s camera, Laptop and a sewing machine.

They were all rewarded for their dedication and hard work during the campaigns and the National Assembly election.

Speaking during the APC ward 07 meeting in Esa-Oke, today (Tuesday), the founder of the NGO, Dr. Olasiji Olamiju-AKOL, said the beneficiaries were rewarded for the love and unequalled support they displayed during the campaigns and election, stating that the cash gift and others are put together by the foundation to encourage every other members of the party saying, "whatever you do, do it well. Because people are always there watching and noticing."

Olamiju explained that, the N100,000 cash gift was given to Mrs Oyetunji Ajibola to aid reopening of her shop that was vandalised and looted during and after the elections by some hoodlums who believed elections can only be won with violence.

As for Oladiti Esan, a trained photographer and Miss Ajoke Esan, a tailor, who both went home with a Nikon D40s photo camera, laptop and sewing machine respectively. Olamiju explained further that, Oladiti had a group he was financing with his hard earned money that campaigned throughout the nooks and crannies of Obokun for him. As a result, both Oladiti and his sister were chased out of their parent's home because they declared their total support for me. Unknown to them my foundation are taking note.

One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Oyetunji Ajibola, while speaking after receiving her money, said, she was elated to have received the N100,000, stating that, this is a testimony that there are still good politicians who reward hardwork.

We expect the foundation to be here for many more years to come and continue to financially impact the lives of people in Obokun/Oriade Federal constituency,” she pointed out.

Olamiju and his Foundation team attended ward 10,ilare meeting, charging party leaders and  members to be more committed while rallying support for the new Acting party chairman, Femi Adewumi.
