Extend hands of support and love to the disabled ~ Yvan preaches

The Young Visioneer's Association of Nigeria (YVAN) Lagos State Chapter for Yvan Mission 2019!

It was great pleasure for Young Visioneer's  Association of Nigeria (Yvan),  Lagos State Chapter yesterday while paying a selfless visit to the school of the deaf and blind in Surulere Area of Lagos State which is in accordance to the Yvan Mission 2019 held yesterday September 19th, 2019.

Nationnewslead gathered that after the welcome speech delivered by Sister Jane who addressed the pupils about the purpose of Yvan visitation, it's mission and vision.

The Yvan NEC Lagos state coordinator duly represented by the Assistant Natl. Sec. Of Yvan,  Comrade Dayo Adeleye took to the podium to give brief note about the mission about the Organization.

Comrade Dayo Adeleye made it known to the pupils know that the association  is non political and shall never be associated or affiliated with any political party. In the word of the coordinator, he said "we are giving back to the community in our own little way.

Yvan  Lagos State Rep Comrade Ovie Oghenero Otuagoma also known as Ovy King in his address said "we are not here to criticize or sweet talk anyone rather to do the needful with selflessness and humanitarian services minds in other to aid better coexistence among all humans positively irrespective of our differences as humans"

The State Rep advised the pupils to have their own opinion of doing things positively and not ready to stand still and watch things while we criticize and talk about bad government or good government hence; we get involved to do our little quotas as expected of us by our creator and communities at-large selflessly

Comrade Ovie Otuagoma encourages the pupil not to feel rejected due to their disabilities as well as to yield to their instructors and think outside the box to become relevant in the society irrespective of their challenges and in return repeat the same or more than the gesture Yvan has come to render.

Yvan used the occasion to call on more organizations and the state government to look into how they can give their supports to aid these set of fellow humans with more supports like (Yvan) are doing.

The State FinSec/Treasurer of Young Visioneer's Association Of Nigeria (YVAN) Lagos State chapter Comrade Elizabeth Ramen observed some challenges disturbing the school and the challenge facing the school are listed below:

*Flood
*State governments inability to build more school building to accommodate comfortably the disabled pupil.
*Sponsorship to build and Patronage the pupils with talents and skills
*The need to research for the discovery and cause of these Disabilities. (Ogun and Delta state have highest disability rates for the Blinds).
*Admission Entry Capacity is  low due to limited Infrastructures.

Following the above; we presented all the gift we came to the pupil.

Appreciations were made to Yvan from both schools after each Aids respectively by the Teachers/Instructors and Pupils as well.
Yvan members present expresses their joy for the visit and pictures were taken afterwards.

The present Yvan members further had a physical meeting amongst attendees and deliberated on numerous areas and strategic means to move the chapter forward positively and progressively. Hence the need for "an all out campaign" for the physically Displaced persons was agreed to be carried out by Oct 1st project theme *@ReachOutNigeria19* and tagged *@OurIndependenceRight*
"Strategy is to sensitize disabled on ways forward and encourage the abled to extend hand of love to the disabled Hence; we are advocating for a better Nigeria together as one,  no matter the equality or inequality Positively he concluded."
