Osun Cabinet Nominees: Oluga Rejoice With Female Nominees, As She Urge Govt At All Levels To Accomodate More Women

The federal lawmaker representing the good people of Irewole/Ayedaade/Isokan federal constituency who is also the chairperson, women in parliament, Hon. Mrs Taiwo Oluga has congratulated two of her members in th Female Aspirants Group,Hon. Mrs Shola Ogunfolaju and Barr. Mrs Olubukola Olaboopo on their nomination. She however applauded Mr Gboyega Oyetola for accepting them to serve in his government

 "It is obvious the level at which women are given opportunity to serve in government most especially in Nigeria is arbitrarily low compared to other developing countries like ours. In some other African countries, we've had women as president and with a track record, though, am confident we will get there with time" she added

The Gbongan born philanthropist cum politician however charged other women to be more committed and active in politics "We have laboured so much even with our resources hence, we cannot aford to stay aloof"

"Let me use this medium to appeal to our men to give women more opportunity  to contribute our own quota in nation building. We are not taking it for granted the little opportunity given to us but as Oliver Twist, we can only ask for more" she concluded
