Oyetola expresses satisfaction as contractor handling UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital project promises to deliver it on time
Governor, State of Osun and Visitor to the Osun State University Mr Gboyega Oyetola has expressed satisfaction with the speed at which the proposed Osun State University Teaching Hospital project was going.
Mr Oyetola who paid an unscheduled visit to the project site on Saturday shortly after the end of the 8th Convocation ceremonies of the University gave kudos to the contractor for the technical manpower deployed to the project site for speedy work.
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy Mr Benedict Olugboyega Alabi was accompanied by the University Chancellor and Donor of the project, Chief Mrs Folorunso Alakija as well as the Vice Chancellor, Professor Labode Popoola and some members of Governing council of the institution.
The project which is under construction on a large expanse of land covering about a thousand square meter located opposite UNIOSUN main campus entrance gate, Oke Baale Osogbo is expected to be completed within 18 months.
The dignitaries and the institution’s management team were conducted round the Teaching Hospital project site by the Project supervisor Engineer Wole Adegboyega and the design architect of the project, Architect Ayo Akinbade.
Architect Akinbade while taking the Governor and the school team round the project assured the governor that the project would be done to the specifications and be delivered within the time frame.
"This proposed UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital is going to have over 250 beds and will be of world class standard and everything that is needed to complete the project has been provided", Architect Ayo Said.
