AKOL Student Ambassador lauds Oyetola on nomination of AKOL, others as commissioners, special advisers

AKOL Student Ambassador, has lauded Governor Isiaka Oyetola on the nomination of Dr. Siji Olamiju, and others as commissioner-designate for his administration.

In a statement released on Friday, 11th of October, 2019, the coordinator of the group, Comrade Tolulope Adeniyi Akobi congratulate all the commissioner and Special Advisers  nominees for making the cut from a pool of eminent party men and women who could serve in Governor Oyetola's government.

Comrade Adeniyi commended Governor Oyetola for transmitting the commissioner list to the State Assembly “in record time,” said, “for us in Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency, Siji Olamiju appointment did not come as a surprise.

“Akol has distinguished himself and has shown capacity in his previous post as Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency House Of Representative Candidate in last election. His appointment is very welcomed to the APC family in Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency.

“Some of our brother former Honorable member and other nominees that made the list have something tangible to contribute to the development of Osun.

“We know them and we can assure the general public that they will function creditably in any portfolio given to them at the end of the day.”

Comrade Tolulope also commended Governor Oyetola for yielding to the pressures from the masses to name a cabinet before the Assembly goes on long recess.

“Governor Oyetola has, on several occasions, showed that he listens to the masses, whom he holds their mandate so passionately.

“We are all happy that his cabinet would be named in a matter of days after the State Assembly has successfully screened all of them." he concluded.
