SexForGrades: How another UNILAG lecturer ruined female student life

While a certain University of Lagos, UNILAG lecturer Dr. Boniface Igbeneghu is under fire for allegedly seeking sex from a female student, a lady has written on how another lecturer in the same department destroyed the life of a female student in the school.

In her narration, the lady identified as @AishaSalaudeen on twitter wrote that the lecturer was student’s supervisor for her final year project, but the request for sex, which she rejected, eventually let to her dismissal from the school.

I am excited about the #SexForGrades investigation. It has been going on for ages & I’m glad we are back on it. Last year, I interviewed a girl in UNILAG (same art department) who was sexually abused by her final year project supervisor. He tried to rape her on many occasions. She did what she thought was best and applied for a new project supervisor.

Unfortunately, she encountered him while retaking some courses she had failed in her first year. According to her, he promised to get her back for denying him sex.

At the end of the day, she discovered her name had been taken off the school board. Being removed from the board effectively revoked her admission to UNILAG. It was as if she was never a student.
This was 6 years ago. Despite going back and forth with this man, she has no degree or a certificate to show that she was ever a student.
