Davest College Of Health Technology Holds 1st Inaugural Lecture, Matriculates 65 Students

The College has held its 1st Inaugural Lecture and the 2018/2019 Academic Session Matriculation Ceremony.

 Friday November 15th, 2019 will remain a memorable day in the annals of Davest College of Health Technology School Ekan . This is because it was a day that they actually had their first  Matriculation and Inauguration of the school.

The program was attended by the cream of the societies . In attendance were The Speaker Kwara State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Yakubu Salihu Danladi ably represented by the Deputy speaker Kwara state House of Assembly  Rt. Hon. (Sir) Adetiba -Olanrewaju Raphael Olalekan, Hon.member Representing  Isin/Irepodun/Ekiti /Oke Ero Federal constituency Hon .Tunji Olawuyi Ajuloopin ably represented by Mr Gani a.k.a AGAS,The permanent secretary  Ministry of Tertiary Education Science and Technology Dr Musa Oladimeji Dasuki  ably represented by Director of Health- Mr Sikiru  , Former Director Ministry of Health Ilorin Mr Aransiola, Branch  Manager First bank plc Omun Aran branch Mr Alayande Adedamola,  DPM Ekiti Local Government Mr Gregory Olalekan Arinde , Provost of Kwara State  College of Nursing Oke Ode ably represented by students officer Mr kolade Emmanuel Oyedepo  and Many other relevant  dignitaries. 

  In his speech, The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Yakubu Salihu Danladi ably represented by the Deputy speaker Kwara State House of Assembly Rt. hon . (Sir) Adetiba-Olarewaju Raphael Olalekan commended  the provost of the College Dr Olusegun David Awoleye for bringing this gigantic institution to the Community."For  any State or country to be successful in terms of economy growth and development, it is necessary to be in private partnership synergy." He said. The  Deputy speaker in excitement says"I am happy that the first Tertiary institution in Oke Ero , Davest College of Health Technology, Ekan matriculates and inaugurates the first set of the students , it is a thing of joy that this  kind of development is coming at this period and starting from my home town in Ekan , Oke ero local Government and I had the opportunity to be the special guest of Honour " he equally advised the students not to waste their investment, in terms of time , money and effort . "You must work hard to achieve your goals in life not minding your background because you are what you think your are" He donated generously on behalf of the speaker and for himself respectfully.

Dr Musa Oladimeji Dasuki ably represented by  Director of Health  Mr Sikiru in his speech, re assured the  students of the authenticity of the provisional approval of the school. " This institution was given her provisional approval early this year after meeting the requirements for the establishment of Tertiary Health Institution and the payment of approval fees to the state Government".  He commended the Provost for his foresight establishing this school in his community  " The Proprietor of this College is hereby commended for his foresight in establishing college of health Technology in this area in order to promote education advancement in the community and it's environs . It's establishment will go a long way in providing employment to the people of the community as well as bringing health care delivery system to the door step of the people in the community" he said. Hon. member Representing Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti /Oke -Ero . Hon. Tunji Olawuyi Ajuloopin ably represented by Mr Gani a.k.a AGAS made the people know the essence of this Citadel of Learning in his Federal constituency and that Davest College of Health Technology Ekan is the first and the only College of Health Technology in Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-ERO Federal constituency. He promised to donate a laudable project to this institution.

KABIYESI His Royal Majesty  Oba Micheal Ashaolu ADEYEMI AROYINKEYE 1 ELEKAN OF EKAN LAND commended the provost and the entire management for the great development Ekan has received in the few months of the establishment of the College.

The provost of the College  Dr Olusegun David Awoleye  in his speech appreciated  all the distinguished guests of Honour ,Kabiyesi Oba M. A. Adeyemi AROYINKEYE 1 ELEKAN OF EKAN LAND, eminent chiefs and the entire Ekan People for their unrelenting efforts to take the school to the promise Land. He assured the people that the school will solve the healthcare problems in Oke -Ero and Nigeria at large.   " The  College's strategic vision is to provide the best research and services delivery niche in the health sciences . We have no doubt that this College is strongly positioned to solve the healthcare problems, not only in Ekan but in Nigeria as a whole"  The provost in his interview promise to release the supplementary list of the students,so the door is open for everyone who looking for admission to buy our admission form at the school premises,in less than two weeks,the supplementary lists will be pasted.

The registrar of the College Jolayemi Abiodun Rotimi made a matriculation oath for the students and the program ended in jubilation.
