Fasanmi to AKOL: Don't Betray Your Integrity ~ Nationnewslead

National Leader of the Yoruba political group, 'Egbe Afenifere Ilosiwaju Yoruba', Senator Ayo Fasanmi, has advised the newly-inaugurated Special Adviser to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun on Public Health, Olasiji Olamiju not to betray his integrity which he had spent donkey's years to build before joining politics.

In a congratulatory letter, the elder statesman said what he personally wished for Olamiju, also known as AKOL, is different from what he was sworn in for.

Fasanmi, who said the portfolio given to Olamiju is very sensitive, noted that he has no doubt that the new Special Adviser will perform beyond reasonable doubt.

The Second Republic senator said Olamiju is a pride to him as a professional colleague and he appreciates his humbleness.

The letter reads in part:

"It is my joy to fervently congratulate you on your new appointment as a Special Adviser to Mr. Governor on Public Health. The post that you are being given is a sensitive post and a very important assignment. I don't have any doubt in my mind that you are going to perform in sparkling fashion, beyond reasonable doubt.

"Although, man proposes, God disposes. What I personally wished for you is different from what you have been sworn-in for. But God knows the best for you. My dear, you are a pride to me as a professional colleague. I have a lot of respect for anybody with lavish dose of humbleness personified by you.

"Lastly, as a father, as a professional colleague, and as a leader in politics, I have a piece of advice for you: in politics, loyalty to the boss is paramount, and the most important aspect. Likewise, having respect for party supremacy and leaders in the party. Also, dedication to the service of humanity.

"Therefore, don't betray your integrity which you have spent donkey's years to build before joining politics. The Bible says 'a good name is better than Gold and Silver.' I pray for the wisdom of God for you to succeed in your new assignment in Jesus name.

"Once again, congratulations! God bless", Fasanmi concluded.
