Barr. Alabi Launches Book Today, Afe Babalola, Farounbi, Yusuf Alli to grace the event

Osogbo, the Osun State capital, is going to play host to some foremost legal luminaries on Monday as all arrangements have been perfected for the presentation of the book titled "The Art of A Lawyer" written by a legal practitioner, Barrister Awoniyi Alabi in an event that is holding at Leisure Spring Hotel, along Iwo-Osogbo road, Osogbo, starting from 11:00a.m.


The event is expected to have Are Afe Babalola (SAN) the Founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado - Ekiti, Ekiti-State, who is the Chief Launcher and Book Presenter.

Others are Mr. Yusuf Alli (SAN), another erudite legal practitioner who is attending the book presentation as a co-presenter with the attendance of Ambassador Yemi Farounbi a Former Nigerian Ambassador to the Philippine as Chairman of the occasion.

The information received also added that Hon. Justice Bode Adegbehingbe, a Judge of the Ondo State High Court would be the book reviewer, while the forward to the book was written by former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA)  who also doubles as Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Chief Richard Osuolale Akinjide (SAN).

In a chat, the author of the book who is a practising legal practitioner, a notary public and university don, said the writing of the book was the fulfilment of his desire to contribute his quota to the body of knowledge in the interest of mankind.

Alabi who has his practice in Osogbo hinted that his professional knowledge as a practising lawyer of over three decades and a university don for quite a number of years sufficiently equipped him for writing the book.

He also added that the quality of the book as well as the quality of the personalities gracing the book presentation is a testimony to the level of the preparedness of the event.

The author therefore, enjoined his well-wishers, friends and professional colleagues to make it a date with the book presentation as a sign of affection.
