Osun APC Women Groups Visits Political Affairs Commissioner Akeju, Commend Oyetola for being Open.


The 37 female groups of the All  Progressive Congress in the  State of Osun, APC Women Leaders Forum State of Osun Led by their President Alhaja Salami Kehinde, paid a courtesy visits to the Honourable Commissioner for Political Affairs and Intergovernmental Relation Hon. Taiwo Akeju on thursday in his office, the group which Comprises of all female groups which are 37 in number.


According to the President of the group Alhaja Salami Kehinde Commended the Oyetola Government For being open to the people of the State and by fulfilling the promises made during the electioneering campaigns to the masses in no distant time of his emergence as governor of the State. She also commended the State  Chairman of the Party Prince Adegboyega Famodun, the State Secretary Alhaji  Rasak Salinsile, State women leader Alhaja Fakokunde and the wife of the governor for their support both in  Financial and physical aspect and the recognition given to the groups. 

The president further urged the governor to consider their members in the Appointment into Political Offices, Empowerment and Patronages.

In his response the Commissioner for Political Affairs and Intergovernmental Hon.Taiwo Akeju Commended the women for their steadfastness towards the Administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola and the Party, he also urged them to remain loyal to the Governor and the party.

The Commissioner promised that from now on the state of Osun will be a special place to live in and their demand will be deliver to the governor.

Akeju further said As Governor Gboyega Oyetola marked his one year in office, he has achieved in the area of security, Healthcare delivery with the creation of 332 local Healthcare centers in all the 332 Political wards in the State and the prompt payment of salaries of workers before the month end among others.

He urged them to continue to give their maximum support to the Administration of Governor Oyetola and also to propagate all the good works and legacy of the present government to the nook and cranny of the state.

On the entourage of the women groups was the Commissioner in the office of the Governor Alhaja Latifat Giwa.
