Osun Dep. Gov. defined Christianity.
Deputy Governor, state of Osun, Mr. Benedict Alabi has revealed that the definition of Christianity is to worship God while identifying obedience to God's instruction as part of worshipping the creator. He described the Eternal Father as God of completion who answers when people call on Him.
The Deputy Governor made this known on Sunday 8th Dec. 2019 while leading the people in praising God at this year's Christmas carol held at the government house chapel, Oshogbo.
Mr Alabi declared that the cross of Christianity is to worship God and be obedient to his instructions.
He stated that God remains the same as yesterday, today, and tomorrow while wishing Christian faithfuls a merry Christmas in advance.
Earlier, Minister in charge of African Church Osun central missionary Diocese, Bishop James Bamidele who titled his message "why do you seek Jesus" disclosed that Christians need to seek God by worshiping him as well as honour him with endowed talents.
In attendance with the Deputy Governor at the occasion were, Commissioner for information & Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode, Commissioner for Women, Children, and Social Affairs, Mrs Olubukola Olaboopo, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Oluwafemi Akande, S.A. to Gov. On public health, Pharm. Olasiji Olamiju, S.A. to Gov. on environment, Mr. Rufus Oyegbile, politicians and religious leaders.
