Embrace OHIS for unlimited access to health care services ~ Osun Dep Gov advises the people

Deputy Governor State of Osun Mr Benedict Alabi has enjoined the people of the state to take maximum advantage of the Osun Health insurance Scheme introduced by the state government for unlimited quality health care.

He encouraged the people to enroll in the scheme with just 12,600 naira  annually saying this would save them any expenses on health related matters.

Mr Alabi gave the advice on Friday in Ikire, while addressing a mammoth crowd of APC members gathered for ward monthly meeting held at ward 4, Oluofinrin Ikire.

The ward monthly meeting which coincided with APC quarterly prayer meeting had in attendance Senator Adelere Oriolowo who is representing Osun West Senatorial District at the Senate as well as the state commissioner for finance Alhaji Bola Oyebamiji and several other political office holders, members of the APC elder's forum and some party leaders.

The state Deputy Governor in his remarks at the meeting advised the people to see the public health facilities provided by the government as their own by patronizing them for  proper medical care.

He however warned the people against the consumption of outlaw drugs and some seasoning products which are harmful to their health.

Mr Alabi also cautioned the youths against unwanted pregnancy which always leads to unintended marriages which is very rampant in the area.

" I want to advice our people particularly, our youths to stop unwanted pregnancy because the report by the world health organization shows that the menace is very rampant here than other places and the consequence of it, is multiplication of abject poverty", Mr Alabi warned.

He announced to the people about the resolve of the political office holders in Osun West Senatorial District to sponsor at least 5 people among the poorest in each ward for Osun health insurance scheme enrollment.
