Peace " is a state or period of freedom from any disturbances such as war, violence, hostility

and other social vices "

In a social sense , peace is commonly used to mean lack of conflict such as freedom from war, violence, malice and hostility among the people in a society.

A peaceful Society is a place where people coexists in perfect harmony, freedom and tranquility reigns all over.

Governor Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State, as a peace loving governor believes that developments can only exist where people live in  harmony and peace reigns. Those who knew  Oyetola right from his childhood days understood that he had always toes the path of tranquillity with his people. His calmness and physical posture is a reflection of his love for peace and conflict free society.

Oyetola's love for Peace and his resolve to make the state to  be united prompted him swifts into action to resolve perceived rifts that might have  been causing conflicts, misunderstanding, separations or divisions among his people.

Oyetola as a man of peace, settled the differences that was existing between Oluwo of Iwo land; Oba(Dr.)
Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi Telu1, and Pa Chief Abiola Ogundokun which has now became the thing of the past. The duo now remain together as one, pledged to continue to remain united and indivisible for the betterment of Iwo land, now normalcy as returned to the duo and their people.

Also, Governor Oyetola in conjunctions with Chief Adebisi Akande , Rauf Aregbesola, Gboyega Famodun and others held a peaceful meeting for the progress and development of our great party APC as a ruling party in the state and therefore declares a strong and one united party.

Oyetola, then went ahead to resolved some issues that was causing ripples within the party such as the
factional crises of the party in Ifelodun local government area where the two
factional leaders; Alhaji Gbadamosi Okunlola Lawal (Owoseni) and Pa B.F. Bello
were brought together in the midst of their people for peaceful resolution and they all promised  to remain united , be indivisible and work together for the development of the party in their constituency and the success of the
government.

Governor Oyetola as a highly talented man, endowed with knowledge and wisdom, understands human behaviours and acts accordingly at appropriate time in cooling human
volatility, seek peace with the people, love them genuinely and always transparent in his dealings.

He called on all
APC members in every nooks and crannies of the state to remain united, live  happily and  work together for the development of the party and success of the government. Indeed he is a Peace
lover and maker.
