New Year Message: Hon. Sanusi Charges Nigerians On Perseverance
Hon. Sanusi Olajide Michael charged Nigerians to persevere, celebrate the seasons with moderation and hope for better days in the New Year.
In a congratulatory message to Nigerians on the occasion of the New Year celebration, signed by his Special Assistant (Media), Awoyemi Olayinka Rafael, the honourable observed that “if for anything, that we are witnesses to the New Year is enough to thank our maker.”
He felicitated with the entire people of Nigeria, Osun State and his home local government, Obokun, that they were able to weather the socio-economic storm to witness another year.
“I must admit that things are not easy for Nigerians of all creeds at the moment. But, for the simple reason that we have lived, despite all the odds, to witness another year, we need to thank God and felicitate with one another. I congratulate us for weathering this socio-economic storm.
"As a man of God, I have the conviction that things will be better for those of us that can persevere in the coming year. Let us continue to pray for our country and Osun State. It has not been rosy, but I see hope in the horizon. We are wiser; we know the people that can serve our interests best, but God must remain our fortress. And we shall live to eat from the good of the land,” he said.
