Oyetola tasks new 21 ASPs from Osun to use their strength to enhance security in Nigeria


Governor state of Osun, Mr Gboyega Oyetola has congratulated the state contingents of the newly recruited officers into the Nigerian Police on the successful completion of the required training. 


Governor Oyetola who stated this while receiving the officers who paid him a courtesy  visit in his office also commended them for coming out in flying colours.

The Governor who spoke through his Deputy Mr Benedict Alabi appreciated the newly commissioned assistant superintendents of Police who are from the state for making the state proud as they just completed training at the Police Academy Wudil, Kano.

Mr Oyetola expressed his delight that investment on them is not a waste but an inspiration to do more.

"We are very delighted to receive you back home and this is telling us that our investment in you is not lost and our hope is rekindled with the success you have attained".

He explained that the state government  is concerned with  their lives and success and advised them to be disciplined and be  good ambassadors of the state in their chosen carrier.

" Your conduct must  always reflect where you come from by displaying ethos of Omoluabi for which the state is known".

He equally implored them to enhance the security of the country with their strength.

Mr Akinlabi Ibraheem who responded on behalf of all the 21 newly commissioned  ASPs who hail from Osun thanked the state government for the assistance and needed support given to them during the training which he said assisted them to excell.

"We really appreciate your efforts and support and we want to assure you of our preparedness to be of good conduct and make the state proud", ASP Ibraheem stated..
