Fedpoffa JCI: Deputy Rector Admin. Dr. Olarongbe Afolabi Accepts Patronship Offer, Charges Students On Positive Activities On Campus

The Deputy Rector Administration of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, Dr. Olarongbe Afolabi has charged the students of the polytechnic to always engage themselves in positive activities that would shape their future on campus. This was disclosed in his office at the polytechnic main campus during a formal meeting with Junior Chamber International (JCI) of the  Polytechnic Chapter.


During the interaction with JCI representatives, Dr. Olarongbe said: " I'm delighted to have you around because I know what JCI stands for universally. JCI has been adding values to the Federal Polytechnic Offa and our polytechnic is interested in organizations, associations that would move the polytechnic forward"

Dr. Olarongbe further stressed that the Polytechnic is for change and will always propel the re-awakening mission on the the part of institutional goals and on the part of students to know their purpose in school. According to him: " We are for change here and what ever we do must align with best institutional practices. Therefore, you should not relent in doing what you are good at because what you do today would shape your future tomorrow. Without any equivocation, I want to accept this offer of patronship and I will be committed to your philantrophical and other activities."

Also speaking,  the President of Junior Chamber International ( JCI), Federal Polytechnic Offa chapter, Jc. Aluko Bisola enjoins students of the Polytechnic to embrace the organization  in order to benefit from the opportunities inherent. She said: " Junior Chamber International is a Non-Governmental Organization of young citizens between the age of 18years to 40 years that provides opportunities and empowers young generations to create active change.

She further stressed that the organization breeds students in personal development through training, public speaking skills, leadership skills, networking, selfless services and opportunity to travel across the globe.
