Coronavirus: Hon. Obeisun Distributes Food Items Across Oriade Local Government

The Local Government Chairman, Hon. Bunmi Obeisun Distributes Food items to the people of Oriade Local Government on Wednesday.

Hon. Obeisun said that the measure was meant to ease the suffering of the less privileged especially with the lockdown in the State to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He reports that Governor Gboyega Oyetola announced the lockdown in Osun State to curtail the spread of Coronavirus.

Hon. distributes the relief materials to Oriade local government people, he said is government plan intended to get to the grassroots through their respective People.

He said 100 bags of beans, 120 bags of rice were distributed.

“The Honourable distributing these food items to 6 wards in Oriade local government to assist the less privileged in these trying times.

“ God will safe the country from this virus and other vices too, because the situation has affected all sectors of the economy and social life,” he said.

The Chairman used the medium to remind those people present that God says in an Holy Bible that whenever there is a pandemic, everybody should stay at home.

The Chairman told his people to obey health officials and constituted authorities that the issue of hand washing is part of the measures especially at this time.
