Osun: House Of Assembly Members Distribute Food Items, To Wards

The member of Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Babatunde Festus komolafe in conjunction with Hon. Deji Fakuwajo(Councillor) and Hon. Muibat Ojo (S.A) Distribute Food items to the people of ward 10 & 11Atakunmosa west Central LG on Friday.

Hon. Komolafe said that the measure was meant to ease the suffering of the less privileged especially with the lockdown in the State to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He reports that Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Wednesday announced the lockdown in Osun State to curtail the spread of Coronavirus.

Hon. Muibat Ojo who led other Honourable to supervise the distribution of the relief materials in the area council, said that they plan intended to get to the grassroots through their respective People.

She said 50 bags of semovita, cartoons of spaghetti, condiments and cash were distributed to over 100 people.

“The Honourable distributing these food items to ward 10 & 11 Atakunmosa west Central area council in Ifewara to assist the less privileged in these trying times.

“ God will safe the country from this virus and other vices too, because the situation has affected all sectors of the economy and social life,” she said.

The party Chairman,  Hon. Mudasiru Bello thanked the Honorables for the gesture and promised to distribute the items to the poorest of the poor.
In his remarks, Bello said everyone has to obey the stay-at-home order and continue to pray to Allah for the country to overcome the pandemic.

The Chairman used the medium to remind those people present that Prophet Muhammad says in an authentic Hadith that whenever there is a pandemic, everybody should stay at home.

The party Chairman told his people to obey health officials and constituted authorities that the issue of hand washing is part of the measures especially at this time.
