Osun Teachers' Recruitment: Beware of Fraudsters, Govt. Warns Applicants

It has come to the notice and attention of the Ministry of Education of Osun that a fraudster has been impersonating officials of the Ministry of Education by making calls inviting unsuspecting applicants to come to him for recruitment assistance in exchange for money.

2. The General Public and teaching job applicants are hereby urged to disregard the calls for invitation by the fraudster, as he is not a staff of the Ministry of Education; and the authorities of the Ministry of Education did not and can never give directive for such corrupt exercise. The invitation is false and constitutes an irregularity under appointment into establishment posts in Public Service. Teaching job applicants in particular are to beware and avoid any transaction with the impostor so that he does not dupe them.













3. It is important to reiterate once again for the General Public and teaching job applicants that recruitment of teachers into Osun public schools will be carried out strictly based on MERIT, not for sale and not on primordial ties. For the purpose of emphasis and clarity, when normalcy returns the Governor in council will issue appropriate statement on the next step moving forward in respect of recruitment of teachers into Osun public schools.
