NATION 2020: A CONTEST TO WIN

June 12 is a day to celebrate Democracy. It is a day to reflect on the past, the present and the future of democractic systems. The major principle of democracy is that the will of the majority should always prevail and this proofs the worth and dignity of individuals as country men and women. Happy Democracy Day Nigerians

Leadership to me means duty, service to the people, determinations, dedications and commitment to the course of the people. It means character, and it means listening to the people from time to time to achieve a common goal aimed at developing and improving the community.

Over the years, Ward 11 of Oriade LG has experienced the service of numerous councillors right from the inception of democracy and councillorship contest. These people has demonstrated and performed to the best of their abilities and capabilities. they are appreciated and commended for their service to the people.

The secret and simple message communicated to most youths and young people today by the society is that they are not needed, that the society will run itself quite nicely, Yet the fact is that the society is not running itself nicely. For society to attempt to solve its desperate problems without the full participation of the youth is imbecile. Undoubtedly, the youths are the critical currency for national development.
















As the State of Osun 2020 councillorship and chairmanship contest draws nearer, it is important for the good people of the state to put the round peg in the round hole in order to compliment and further proclaim the good works of our working governor.
As our amiable governor, H.E Alh. Gboyega Oyetola is performing wonderfully well, there is need for capable hands to handle the wards and local government affairs.

It is on this note aimed at providing, delivering and ensuring good governance to the good people of Ward 11 of Oriade LG, I present myself (as a gift to celebrate Democracy day) to serve my people at the ward level in the Capacity as Councillor.
I have no doubts that I have acquired all required prerequisites to serve my people.

We shall provide a people based and oriented program to empower the youths and the women, Infrastructure developments, Students support and incentives, a transparent, accountable an reliable governance are our watchwords.

As we start the journey to the liberation of our people, this day, your total support in all ramifications shall duly be appreciated and commended.
