SUBEB Secretary, Alhaji Adeoye Bakare Resumes Office, Charged Workers To Be Proactive And Work In Unity







The new Executive Secretary of Osun State universal Basic Education Board, Alhaji Adeoye Bakare resumes duty today. The workers who are filled with joy and happiness trooped out to welcome him with a fun fare. He resumes office around 8:30am in the morning with a rousing welcome from the staff who have gathered in numbers expecting their new boss.

Song of praises rendered the air and prayers was offered by the joyfull staff. The prayer session was joined by the representative of the new board chairman Hon. Isreal Famurewa. The prayer session was moved from the office of the Executive Secretary to the chairman and the commissioners offices to thank and appreciate God for giving them their deserved boss who will set a new dawn in their institution.












Alhaji Adeoye Bakare appreciated God in his life and sincerely thank Governor Gboyega Oyetola for considering him fit to steer the affair of the institution. He therefore promise to reciprocate the confidence reposed on him by His Excellency to deliver his mandate with high level of integrity.

He thank the staff for bestowing on him a rousing welcome and assured them of his support when it deemed fit. He urged them to continue to work in harmony and do every possible best in assisting him to take the institution to the greater height.


He started the day by hosting the maiden meeting with the directors, head of the departments in the institution and representatives of the Head of Service led by the permanent Secretary Mr. Leye Aina.

Mr Aina said he was in the institution to do proper introduction of the new Executive Secretary, offers prayers and to oversee the proper handing over to the new boss.

He enlightened the staff that the position of the Executive Secretary was as a result of continuous reform in the public service and that the position is still the accounting officer of the board.


He advised the staff to remain dedicated to their duties, work together as a family, support one another, maintain unity and tranquillity in their respective departments.

He implored them to be open minded to their new boss and that every service men has the same goal. He reminded them that they own the future of the state and that they should be proactive to deliver the best platform in delivering a well qualitative education to our dear State.

The director in the office of the Head of Service Alh. Akintola Najeemdeen advised them to brief the Executive Secretary in details and report every activities in their department to him by obeying the order of hierarchy of public service.

In his response, Alh. Adeoye Bakare on behalf of the board chairman and the entire staff of the institution thank the Head of Service and his representatives for their visit. He said he recognised his new office as a foundation to the future of our dear state.

He said he is a complete metamorphosis of education that understand the principles and requirements of basic educational system. He said his experience in the public service and his educational background will be of immense benefits in delivering his mandate.


He said he is prepared to strive to achieve the legacy that will be difficult to match.He solicited for the support and cooperation of every staff and advised them to respect one another.

He then directed the directors and head of the departments to submit their work plan and always ready for briefing. He proceeded to the inspection of the offices and facilities of the institution in support of the senior staff of the institution.


He also received the representatives of Unity bank, Osun State Muslimscommunity, Nigeria Union of Journalists and staff of OSBC who paid him a courtesy visit to congratulate him on his appointment. They praised him for his previous achievements and prayers was offered for his successful tenure in office.
