Oyetola Assures Good Locations For Investors. – Commissioner For Land

Ambaliyu Bolarinwa, Press Secretary Ministry On Lands As part of the effort of the present administration to attract investors to Osun and to create more jobs for the teaming youths in the State, a parcel of lands of many hectares have been acquired by the State government at Dagbolu to boost socio economic life of the people in the State. 

The Commissioner for Lands and physical Planning and Urban Development Honorable Nathaniel Agunbiade stated this during a brief meeting with the press men on the activities of his Ministry since he resumed office.

According to Hon. Agunbiade this laudable gesture of Mr Governor will reduce poverty and unemployment in the state adding that commercial farming activities will also lead to food production in Osun and enhance Lagos market demand. 

Speaking further, the Commissioner added that Mr Governor has also approved allocation of lands to corporate organisations like WAEC,NSCDC,Water Corporations etc for their expansion and to provide profitable services for the people of Osun. 

Hon. Agunbiade then used the occasion to commend the approach of Governor Oyetola on land matters which has drastically minimised lands dispute in the state stressing that communal crisis and court litigations have also reduced. 

He then lauded the strict decision of Governor Oyetola to pay compensation on government acquired lands especially to Dagbolu communities and other beneficiaries of the good gesture.
