Thug Attacks Supporter Of Oriade Chairmanship Aspirant, Hon. Akinwale Bimbo Lawanson In Ijebu-Jesa During Burial Ceremony

Comrade Nation was attacked at the burial ceremony of Hon. Sola Adewumi's in- law in Ijebu-Jesa area of Oriade Local Government. 

Awoyemi Olayinka Rafael, is a ward 11 Councillor Aspirant of the All Progressive Congress, and was on Saturday attacked by a thug who is said to be APC local government youth leader, who also suspected to be loyal to the All Progressives Congress incumbent local government Chairman, Hon. Bunmi Obeisun. 

A source, who witnessed the attack said the hoodlum who is a loyalist of APC incumbent local government chairman, came to challenge Olayinka on his way when he wanted to go and get an envelope.

"The APC thug claimed to be APC Oriade youth leader came and began harassing the ward 11 councillorship aspirant because he did not support Hon. Bunmi Obeisun.

The local youth leader politically known as Wale Elewa assaulted him and cut him with cutlass on his right eyes side," the source said. 

Some political leaders, who was also at the scene, confirmed the attack they added.
