BTVM Osun State Excos Organized A Successful Meeting With The LGA Coordinators ~ Nationnewslead
THE REPORT OF THE STATE EXCOS AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT COORDINATORS MEETING HELD ON 18/07/18
The meeting started at 12:13pm and the opening prayer was said by Hon Muhammed Kareem, after the opening the BVTM state Coordinator welcome everybody to the meeting and explain in detail the procedure for selecting all the Excos and the local government coordinators.
He also emphasized the aim and benefits of the BTVM which is mainly seeing Asiwaju as Nigeria President come 2023. The Coordinator also charged the Local government Coordinators to work harder for the interest of all because they will be the one to select the local Excos when it is time to do so.
Hon Satiregun Olayiwola also welcome us all to the meeting and told us that be the State and Local governement executives of this group is a privilege, he let us know that there is a lot of things we can benefit in BTVM, he enjoyed us to be more committed, he also advised that our local government excos selecting should be 70-% men when the 30% should go for women
the woman leader Hon. Asogbon Victoria make a request for 70-40% affirmative and She also pray for the success of the group.
Com Aliu hint us on the need to be steadfast so that the group will not be hijacked by some leaders when it get to it's climax.
The major discussion is Transparency and AccountAbility. The state Excos were urged to work as a team and cooperate with each other and also to carry along the local government Excos in all the activities of the group.
As the meeting progress, the National Welfare officer Com. Babatunde join us which is a moral buster to us. He told the garthering that he want two people from Osun to be among the national Excos.
He also explain the caliber of people spare heading BTVM that in due course, their identity will be know. He told us that the national body want to come to Osun for a visitation and the need for us to get ready for their logistics but the time for the visitation was not concluded at the meeting due to some logistics too. He advised us to prepare a banner so that it will be place for recognition during our meeting. He emphasized the need for our financial commitment too and donate #5000 to the course.
After several deliberation from different participants , the meeting was adjourned till next time with the motion moved by Com. Muhammed Kareem and seconded by Com. Afolabi Rafiu (Peace)
The closing prayer was said by Com. Jude Ogunkanmi.
