Oyetola condoles with Afenifere leader over the killing of his daughter.

Governor, State of Osun Mr Gboyega Oyetola has condoled with the family of Afenifere Leader Chief Reuben Fasoranti over  the killing of her daughter, late Mrs  Funke Olakunrin by suspected fulani herdsmen in Ondo state on Friday 12th of July 2019

Governor Oyetola during his condolence visit on Monday to the bereaved Afenifere leader at his residence in Akure, Ondo State condemned the killing in its entirety.

It would be recalled that the 58-year-old woman was heading to Ore Junction from Akure, Ondo State, when she was attacked and shot by the suspected herdsmen.

Governor Oyetola who was represented by his Deputy Mr Benedict Olugboyega Alabi during the condolence visit was received by the wife of the Afenifere's leader  Chief Mrs Funmilayo Fasoranti and a son Mr Taiwo Fasoranti.

Governor Oyetola then prayed for the repose of her soul.

"On behalf of the State Executive Council, the Governor symphatizes with our foremost leader and indeed the people of Ondo State over this dastardly act .”

"You came to the world and played a good role, Almighty God will grant you a peaceful rest", the Governor through his Deputy wrote on the condolence register book.

The Governor had earlier in a condolence message issued by his Chief Press Secretary Mr Adeniyi Adesina called for a probe into the killing of the deceased.
