PDP Northern Stakeholders & Elders Endorse NWC Decision On Plateau Crises, Reject Attempts By Some Individuals To Unconstitutionally Present Chief Dt Sango Replacement Without Consultation


Stakeholders and respected elders from the six (6)LGAs of the Northern Senatorial District of Plateau State have resisted attempts by few individuals to install Chief DT Sangos replacement,which the describe as an exercise in futility, in a letter written to the National Working Committee of PDP in wadata plaza Abuja.


The stakeholders express Suprise to how such an important issue will not be deliberated at the zonal level before presenting to the state level and the general public.

There is absolutely serious difference between a like minds gathering to discuss issues of common interest and a meeting involving party organs to discuss constitutional matters.

The resolutions reach before Chief DT Sango step aside was a political solution which was endorse as a working documents for the growth of the party,for some few persons to think of outsmarting party faithfuls is uncalled-for.

We have various Constitutional organs stated in our party Constitution which must be consulted before an important matter such as replacement will come up.

We categorically disassociate ourselves from the early moves which can best be describe as Kangaroo in the letter to the National Chairman Chief Uche Secondus and the chairman Board of trustees of the party,copied to various organs of the party and security agents.

Representatives of the elders and stakeholders from each Local Government Area  who sign the letter which was send to the National headquarters of PDP in Abuja unanimously reject the moves.

All sign on behalf of the stakeholders from the Northern zone.

The stakeholders endorse the decision of the National Working Committee which was complied with by the former state Chairman Hon Chief DT Sango and promise to abide by that resolutions.

This resolution inconjunction with the central zone resolutions sign by the elders from the zone December 2019 has the ability to strengthen the party.
