Fedpoffa: Staff, Students Celebrate DSA, Describe Him As A Peace Maker

The Dean of Students' Affairs of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, Mr. Gbenga Aleminu has been celebrated by staff and students of the polytechnic on his birthday. A mini celebration combined with prayer session took place in Dean's office on Monday 17th, 2020. 

While describing the celebrant, Pastor Mrs. O.M. Oladoyin, the Chief Executive Officer of the Directorate of Students' Affairs described him as a kind hearted, committed, amiable and peace loving  man that always cater for the welfare of the staff of the directorate and students at large. She said: " Our dean is amiable, kind hearted, approachable and peace loving man. We work together here as a family and he is always dedicated and committed to the school. We pray to God to grant him long life and more prosperous years ahead"

Also speaking on behalf of the students of the polytechnic, the Students' Union President, Comrade Abiola Azeez Adigun congratulated the Dean for adding a year to his age and pray to God to grant him long life, sound health and prosperity. He said, " On behalf of the entire students of the Federal polytechnic Offa, I want to felicitate with the Dean of Students' Affairs as he is a year plus today. Our Dean is a caring father that always take the interest of the students as his utmost priority and whenever we have issues, he always talk to us calmly to arrive at amicable settlement. He always work tirelessly along the interest of the students to ensure peaceful atmosphere and always put everything in place for the progress of the school. I pray to God to elevate him beyond his current position. He is one of the Messiahs in the system."

Speaking to this reporter, Olabanji Usman who graduated from the school in year 2018 congratulated the Dean and described him as a generous father. Usman said, " DSA is a rare gem, a generous father to the core. I  could recall when I was going to  camp as Batch C 2018 Corps member, he gave me money  to add up to my transport fare to Akwa Ibom State. A favour that would never be forgotten in my life. I pray to God to continue to bless him, elevate him and protect him against all satanic influence. I wish him happy birthday! He is a blessing to the Federal Polytechnic Offa."
