Osun Deputy Governor commiserate with the Catholic Community over the loss of their members in a motor accident.

The Deputy Governor, state of Osun, Mr Benedict Alabi has commiserate with the Catholic Diocese, Osogbo and  indeed, the Neighboring states,  over the loss of some faithfuls in a motor accident that occurred on Sunday, 9th February, 2020 at Eripa in the State of Osun.

It was reported that some  members of the Catholic Church were involved in a fatal accident which claimed the lives of six members on their way returning from the annual pilgrimage from Oke-Maria in Otan Ayegbaju, Boluwaduro local government area of the State of Osun.

Oke Maria is a location at Otan Ayegbaju in the State of Osun where Catholic faithfuls converge for the annual vigil and prayer sessions.

In a condolence message released by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Sunkanmi Ajiboye, the Deputy Governor expressed his heart felt sympathy on the occurrence and condole with the Catholic community on the crash and loss of lives.

Mr. Alabi prayed God to give the Church and families of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Thanks
