The Leadership Of Nigerian Students Parliament Pays Former Governor Of Sokoto State A Private Visit

It was indeed a wonderful moment for the Nigerian Students Parliament as her leadership paid His Excellency Dist'd Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko former Governor of Sokoto State and Senator representing Sokoto central Senatorial district in his house in Abuja.

The visit was majorly to appreciate the Erstwhile Governor and serving senator for his relentless contribution and direct financial support he has been given to students in various higher institutions even after leaving the governorship seat of Sokoto State.

The Speaker of the students parliament Rt. Hon. Jabir Abubakar Bodinga also used the medium to express his gratitude to the former Governor for offering himself as a mentor for young people despite his ever busy schedule.

The Clerk of the Nigerian Students Parliament Hon. Ozu Fredrick Important and member representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District also thanked Gov. Wamakko for his giant strides and added that his records in development of the education sector in Sokoto State remain unbeaten, and specially appreciated H.E Wamakko for adopting the speaker of the students parliament as one of his political sons.

In response, H.E Wamakko applauded the leadership of the house for their calmly disposition and assured the parliament of his full support and his readiness to partner with NSP to organize programs that would contribute meaningfully to National unity and empowerment of young people especially students.
